Have you finished? What was the biggest surprise? Do you still like Jacob better than Edward or vice versa? Do you think there will be more books to come?

Book 3(Eclipse) SPOILER . . .sort of. Near the end of Eclipse, Bella tells Jacob that he was her sun when Edward was gone. He chased the clouds away. His response was that clouds he could deal with but he couldn't handle an eclispe. I think this has something to do with the title. Do you think the title for book 4 (Breaking Dawn) suggests that Jacob will be the sun again?
The "harvest" scene near the end of Unwind was very powerful. What was your reaction when you read this part of the story? Do you think the parents who sent their kids to be unwound really knew what it was like to be unwound?
Gregor and his little sister go on quite the adventure to a completely different world! What did you think of Underland? Is it a place you would like to visit? How would you survive? Based on what we know about the prophecy what do you think the future will bring for Gregor and his family?
What a painful story! Deanna’s entire life is completely changed because of a mistake she made three years before. Her family and the people from her school will not let her forget what she did. How do you think the events of the summer helped Deanna to deal with what happened all those years ago? Do you think things will be easier for her now?
This book deals with a lot of tough things – poverty, racism, death, alcoholism and more. But, Junior tells his story in such a hilarious way that I couldn’t help but laugh. What did you think of this book? Did you understand why Junior chose to leave the “Rez” for school? Do you think he made the right choice? Why do you think it was so hard for his friends to accept his decision?
Geri's post about The Silenced hit home with me after reading Unwind - it is definately not an "easy" read either! Both of these books are set in societies similar to our own but with very dark twists. What do you think - could you imagine living in a world like this? What part of the story sent the most chills down your spine?
I'm embarrassed to say I had never heard of the Triangle Shirtwaist Company before I read this book. Now I have been researching what actually happened there almost a century ago. I found a great website with photos and lots of information: http://www.ilr.cornell.edu/trianglefire/
What are your feelings about women's rights and workers' rights after reading "Uprising"?
The Silenced is not what I'd call an "easy" read. It is a dark vision of what might happen, if our own society changed in a very, very bad way. Did the story still draw you in, despite its darkness? Did you identify with any of the main characters? Did you find the story suspenseful, wondering if Marena and her friends would figure out ways to resist the all-controlling Zero Tolerance Party -- and if they could succeed with the odds stacked against them?
Do you think using video games to solve problems in real life is a good idea? What do you think would happen on New Earth if Epic ends?
